Early access — Northern mining sites

Compliance-grade monitoring for mining sites that can't afford to guess.

Atli ingests lab reports and consultant data, evaluates every measurement against your regulatory triggers, and drafts human-reviewed interpretations — citations enforced, every action logged.

The problem

Compliance today is slow, error-prone, and impossible to audit.

Environmental compliance at a Northern mine site involves a constant flow of lab data, consultant reports, and regulatory deadlines. The tools most teams use weren't built for it.

Trigger reviews happen too late

Critical exceedances sit buried in PDFs and spreadsheets until someone has time to read them. By the time a human flags the event, the regulatory window may already be closing.

Spreadsheets can't hold the compliance load

Version drift, formula errors, and manual copy-paste mean your compliance records are only as good as the last person who touched them — and there's no audit trail to prove otherwise.

Thresholds live in someone's head

When a monitor leaves or a consultant rolls off, institutional knowledge of what matters, at what level, under which framework, walks out the door. There's no single source of truth.

What it does

Every step of the compliance workflow, built in.

Atli isn't a document viewer or a spreadsheet wrapper. It's a full compliance workflow — ingestion through review through audit — designed specifically for environmental monitoring at mining sites.

01Excel · PDF

Ingest lab data and reports

Upload Excel lab results or PDF consultant reports. Atli extracts and normalizes every measurement, preserving units, detection limits, and provenance.

02Hourly checks

Automatic trigger evaluation

Define parameter thresholds once against your regulatory framework — CCME, EPA NPDES, Alaska DEC, Idaho DEQ, or custom. Every new measurement is checked automatically.

03Claude Opus 4

AI interpretations with citations

When a trigger fires, Atli drafts a human-readable interpretation. Every factual claim must cite a source document. Outputs without citations are rejected and retried.

04Reviewer workflow

Human review is mandatory

Nothing is filed or forwarded without a human verdict: Confirm, Dismiss, or Flag as false positive. The system is designed to assist reviewers, not replace them.

05RAG · Citations

Ask questions in plain English

Query your monitoring data conversationally. "What was the zinc reading at Station 4 last Tuesday?" Atli retrieves, ranks, and cites its answer against your documents.

06Tamper-evident

Append-only audit trail

Every mutation writes to an immutable audit log. Every interpretation is traced to its source. Every review is recorded. The trail cannot be deleted or altered.

Who it's for

Built for the people who carry compliance risk.

Atli is purpose-built for Northern mine sites — Yukon, Alaska, BC, Idaho. If you operate under CCME, EPA NPDES, or state water quality frameworks, this is your tool.

Environmental consultants

You manage compliance obligations across multiple mine sites simultaneously. You need to track hundreds of parameters, catch trigger events before regulators do, and produce defensible records under deadline pressure.

  • Managing multi-site trigger reviews
  • Spending hours parsing lab reports manually
  • Worried about a missed exceedance in a PDF no one read

Mine site operations teams

You're responsible for the site day-to-day, but compliance paperwork isn't your expertise. You need a system that catches problems early, tells you what to do about them, and keeps a record you can show an auditor.

  • Compliance knowledge lives in one person's head
  • Waiting on consultant reports to know if you're within limits
  • No clear audit trail when a regulator asks questions

Regulatory affairs leads

When a regulator comes knocking, you need to show your work. You need a citation trail, a review record, and confidence that nothing fell through the cracks. Atli is built to produce exactly that.

  • Preparing for regulatory inspections or annual reviews
  • Coordinating between sites, consultants, and legal
  • Needing a source of truth that isn't "ask Janet"

How it works

From lab report to audit-ready record in four steps.

Atli is designed for a single workflow: ingest data, evaluate triggers, review flagged events, and answer questions. No configuration sprawl. No generic platform to customize.

1

Upload your data

Drag in a lab results spreadsheet or a consultant PDF. Atli extracts every measurement row, normalizes units to your parameter catalogue, and flags anything it can't parse for human review.

Excel · PDF · Docling extraction

2

Define your triggers

Set parameter thresholds in plain YAML or through the UI: station, parameter, condition, reporting cadence. Atli runs a trigger check against every new measurement, every hour.

CCME · EPA NPDES · Alaska DEC · Idaho DEQ · Custom

3

Review flagged events

When a trigger fires, Atli surfaces a draft interpretation with citations. A reviewer reads it, checks the sources, and clicks Confirm, Dismiss, or False positive. Nothing moves forward without that verdict.

Human-in-the-loop · Draft + critique pass

4

Query your monitoring history

Ask questions in plain English. "What zinc readings at Station 4 exceeded the threshold in Q1?" Atli retrieves the relevant measurements and documents, ranks them, and cites its answer.

Trust & security

Built for an industry where mistakes are expensive.

Every architectural decision in Atli exists because we took the risk model seriously from day one. Here's what that looks like in practice.

Strict multi-tenant isolation

Every request is scoped to a single organization. Cross-tenant reads return 403. Your data never shares compute, storage, or query context with another tenant.

Citations enforced at the model level

Trigger interpretations and query answers use structured tool-use that requires citations. Outputs without source references are rejected and retried automatically — not silently degraded.

Append-only audit log

Every write to a mutable table fires a Postgres trigger that appends a tamper-evident record. The audit log cannot be updated or deleted by application code — the database enforces this.

Human review is not optional

The platform has no "auto-file" or "auto-forward" mode. Every trigger event requires a human verdict before any downstream action. We designed the friction in deliberately.

No model training on your data

We retrieve and reason; we do not fine-tune on ingested content. Your lab reports, measurement data, and site documents are never used to improve any model.

Raw data is immutable

Uploaded files are never modified. Corrections happen through new ingestion events and audit entries — not by overwriting the original. The source record always reflects what was received.

Compliance in the mining sector isn't about being right most of the time. It's about being able to prove you were right every time.

We're onboarding a small number of pilot sites.

Atli is in early access for mine sites and environmental consulting firms in the Northern US and Canada. We work closely with pilot customers to make sure the platform fits the real workflow — not a hypothetical one.
